TICKETING DIRECTOR
UniverSoul a stable and growing family entertainment company, headquartered in Atlanta, GA , seeks an experienced Ticketing Director to plan, organize and manage show ticket sales, distribution and information. This position is responsible for cultivating the current company sales leads and ensuring that new ones are delivered on a regular basis. The ticketing director works as a part of the marketing team and is responsible for developing sales strategies and plans for ticket campaigns, including the implementation of these campaigns, monitoring and analyzing results, and identifying ways to increase sales.


RESPONSIBILITIES: Include, but not limited to the following:
The director must be proficient in the ticketing and data management process to understand how it facilitates the needs of the sales people and the customer. The director is responsible for the day to day management and supervising of the in house, local and national sales team.
The ticketing director will direct and oversee the internal control of daily operations, ensure the coordination of event information between promoter, event personnel and Ticketmaster in a timely manner. This position is responsible for the procedural development, and management of personnel to provide efficient operation of the office and support for other areas including providing excellent customer service. The ticket director must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to produce positive results in an atmosphere that represents exemplary customer service.
Responsible for ensuring the ticket office runs efficiently through proper training, leadership and the oversight of the day-to-day activities of the Box Office. Acts as liaison between promoting entities, Ticketmaster ensuring that accurate information is disseminated and events go on sale as intended; direct the creation of events on ticketing systems; administration of all holds, seat kills, and processing of internal orders; supervision and delegation of event duties to the customer service representatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:*  This detail-oriented candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment, and possess superior customer service skills. Management and supervisory experience in the computerized ticketing industry is required.
*  Must have proven sales experience with creating or actively participating in the creation of key sales programs.
*  Must be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills.
 
*  Must be service oriented, have good organization and communication skills and be able to successfully handle multiple priorities
 
*  Upstanding moral character, honest and dedicated.
 
*  Proven record of maintaining high levels of technical skills including proficiency within Microsoft Windows environment required
 
* Keeping current with emerging ticketing/box office trends and incorporating changes.
 
* Developing budgets
 
* Bachelors degree in communications, business or management related area preferred or an equivalent combination of related education and experience totaling 4+ years minimum.
 
* Ability to work independently
Must have previous experience and superior skill in delivering the highest level of internal and external customer service to a diverse clientele. Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written are essential. Must have the ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic and mature manner not only with clients and guest, but also with co-workers, within the organization.
Must have advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
 
Ability to work collaboratively in a high stress, fast paced, deadline driven team environment is needed. Must be able to exercise independent judgment, balance competing responsibilities, and complete assignments in a timely manner. Must have the initiative to develop and implement strategic and/ or operational planning improvements.
