MERCHANDISE & FOOD/BEVERAGE CONCESSIONS MANAGE
The best in family urban entertainment, UniverSoul Circus, is seeking a sales driven, customer minded and confident individual to manage the concession operation (merchandise, food and beverage cashiers, food preparers, stock clerk and house vendors). This individual will supervise and train staff, set schedules, Inspect and maintain a sanitary and efficient food preparation according to County and State Health Regulations. Supervise and/or prepare and sell food, merchandise items, maintain food prep/cook system, maintain food and merchandise inventory system. Requires 100% Travel with the UniverSoul Circus from February 2011 through November 2011. If you are not available to travel, please do not apply.
Merchandise & Food/Beverage Concessions Manager:
RESPONSIBILITIES: Include, but not limited to the following:
§ Develop the business to drive sales
§ Supervise concession staff including regular employees and local staff.
§ Recruit, develop and retain a highly motivated driven team
§ Open/close out concession in accordance with UniverSoul accounting procedures
§ Issue banks to cashiers
§ Plan and prepare daily transaction reports for home office.
§ Prepare for and handle health inspection in each market.
§ Ensure merchandise truck is stocked with inventory for sale.
§ Serve customers in a friendly, professional, quick and efficient manner by having a thorough knowledge of the concession equipment and products sold.
§ Responsible for keeping the concession area visually pleasing, clean and safe for customers by regular inspection, maintenance and cleaning.
§ Reconcile daily cash deposits
§ Resolve customer complaints and issues
§ Submit weekly payroll to supervisor
§ Assist with load/in or load/out when setting up or leaving a city.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
§ At least 3 years experience managing the sale of food in a fast paced environment such as circuses, restaurants, stadiums, performing arts theaters, retail industry, or major businesses.
· Must be bondable.
· Effective customer service and problem solving skills are required.
· Previous customer contact experience.
· Arrive to work on time as scheduled and be clean and neatly groomed and dressed in black slacks and white or black collar shirts and black shoes.
SALARY AND WORK HOURS:
· Salary based on experience.
